Or I think the guy with the police scanner was a member of Cryptoburners.

I remember after arriving at the party and setting up our gear we went to the McDonald's near by (the first one in Norway, I think). While we walked back to the party after eating we were joking about what if the cops are there, and hey, they were! It was a mess! VHS tapes and floppies were flung from the windows of the building. There was this ledge above the ground floor, and it was filled with warez of all sorts.

Cops stood by the exits with large trash bags collecting floppies and tapes. But they didn't frisk us, so if you put on a smile and said no, I don't have anything, they let you go. Ofcourse we had hundreds of floppies.

Since we had travelled 600km and were just kids we were allowed back in the building to sleep until the next day, provided we did NOT fire up our computers. Of course we did anyway, since some guy, from Crusaders I think, had a police scanner so we would know if the cops came back.

Zyron: No, it's not. I attended the Bergen party in 1990 as well. This party is the party in the Norwegian city of Drammen that was busted by the police after just a few hours. I remember crazy cracker dudes throwing their floppies out of the window and us being forced against the wall. Quite an experience for a 14 year old kid from a small peaceful town. And the only releases that came out of it was all the "fuckings-demos" that were made after it. This one being the most famous: http://www.pouet.net/prod.php?which=10258, being directed towards the firm that tipped off the police, BJ Electronics. And yeah, fuck'em! ;)

No more info? Year? Releases? Visitors? Something to make this entry a bit more complete?
