Hey everyone,
All I can say is I'm really impressed with all of the entries. I really wasn't expecting this to go as well as it did, and I would really like to thank everyone for their submissions. Just as a reminder, the compo ends tomorrow at 23:59 CET, and I will try to get a voting sheet up by Thursday. Voting will be for one week until 23:59 CET next Thursday. Again, thank you all for making this an incredible compo, and hopefully I will see you all next September!

Because no HR complicates things, HR will be allowed again. Also, still keep in mind $20, $21, $22, and $23 are the only waveforms allowed. Time will tell if this will be the last rule change or not.

Ok, so here is yet another update. Zero waveforms, or $00, is not allowed in this compo. Furthermore, hard restart is not allowed, and the only bits allowed in this compo are $20, $21, $22, and $23.

After some discussion in the thread (hate the fact I can't edit my own comments lol) testbit will not be allowed from now on. So if you've started making a tune, please make any necessary changes. More rule changes might follow in the next few days, so please keep an eye out.

Ok, another rule that I was asked about:

You cannot do covers. You need to make an original song for this compo.

Hello everyone! This is my first compo that I'm hosting, and I might make a lot of mistakes, so please bear with me here. Anyways, here are some rules for this event:
-Only sawtooth waveform allowed with gate on/off
- No testbit or zero waveform allowed outside routine's hardrestart phase (don't put it in the wavetable or the patterns of your song)
-Hardsync allowed
-Filtertable not allowed (Check the title, it's right there)
-Multispeed playback allowed up to 16x (No samples)
-Only one SID chip allowed (No multiSID)
-Minimum playtime of 1:30
-Up to 3 entries per contestant

If you have any questions about these rules, don't hesitate to send me a PM or send a message in the discussion thread for this compo. Have fun!
