If you announced the prolongation of the deadline a wee bit earlier, I'd have had more time to arrange my tune properly, as for now I made a lot of ugly compromises to finish it in time, because of unrelated silvester preparations. ;)

Hello everyone, you may or may not notice that I have extended the deadline to the 10th, which was the original deadline for voting. This is because I can imagine you all will be busy with New Year's celebrations, and I really want you all to enjoy the New Year for some time. With the extension in mind, I will be extending voting until 23:59 CET January 17th.

Hello everyone,
Hope you all had a Merry Christmas! With a few days left until the deadline, I feel that there are enough entries for this compo such that the deadline will not be extended. A voting sheet will be released on New Year's Day, and you will have until 23:59 CET on January 10th to submit your votes. I want to give a big thank you to everyone who participated in this entry, as the entries have been astounding to say the least.

Yeah, "Use one channel throughout" would have been better wording. My apologies.

just a question about this particular rule:
"Only one channel can be used at a time. For example, if channel 3 is being used, channel 1 and channel 2 can't be used."

would that mean that a note on channel 1 could still fade out (through ADSR use) while a new note is triggered on a different channel? or why is it worded that way (instead of just saying "only use one channel throughout")

1:30 for a single channel at least might be the issue with this compo... other than that great idea

Due to low output from runnning concurrently with the Short Loop compo, the deadline has been extended throughout the month of December. A big thank you to those that have already submitted entries of their own, as they are pretty good. Can't wait to hear more!

nice idea :) had a similar one-channel-compo-idea already, but didn't pull it off yet. will probably take part in this one :)

shouldn't it be coined Filterless _ONE_ Channel Compo 2020 if I got the rules right?

Hello everyone,
I'm back again, and here with yet another filterless compo. I may or may not do some rule changes again, so yeah. Here are the rules for this one (mostly similar to the Filterless $21 compo):
-Only one channel can be used at a time. For example, if channel 3 is being used, channel 1 and channel 2 can't be used.
-An entry must be at least 1:30 in length, and only 3 entries will be allowed per participant.
-You can go up to 16x for multispeed: no samples allowed.
-Use of the digi channel is not allowed.
-No multiSID.
-No covers allowed.
-Testbit and hard restart are allowed.
-$x0, $x1, $x2, and $x3 are the only waveforms allowed.
-Most importantly, don't use the filtertable!
Hopefully I won't have to change these rules and spam comments like I did last time so the comments will be much more palatable. With that, have fun!
