Event id #1501 : Breakpoint 2009

Due to some urgent personal problems I'll miss Breakpoint this year, so one bed is freed up in a double room at Starkenburger Hof for 31 euros/night.
If interested, hurry up and write an email to your roomate for the weekend, Cyborg.

Quote: Congrats to the Booze Design guys for getting #3 place on People's Choice Award (only oldschool demo I could see in there except for Crafts) and #1 on Oldschool Platform Demo!

Looking forward to the rest of the C64 categories, I hope the stream keeps up for tomorrow night's awards, is stalling like shit on the Awards since probablyk everyone and their mums is watching it, and let;s not even talk about my lowly south american "boradband" connection :P

..it won in oldschool, not people's choice...

Exactly what I said, it was third in the countdown, which I thought was pretty cool since that was among all platforms! ;)

@HCL: You should have been there. We watched EOD from the famous BP big screen. BP crowd really liked it.

congrats HCL, totally deserved win.

the rest from bp was a bit disappointing, sure, one awesome pc 4k, one cool amiga demo, but the rest I dunno... c64 compo was ok tho and the 96k compo had a few cool entries (peiselulli's FoN rules!)
