Anyone know what's he doing these days? Would like to confirm some issues in HVSC with him.

According to some recent interview with Mr.Wax he passed away.

Although I see no reason with Griff not to believe it, he was a legal guy all in all. Sad news. :( I met him once very briefly. He was the kinda guy who liked to make music on the computer but was not interested in any scene matters.

So it's more or less confirmed. Anybody knows more details? At least when he exactly died?
a translation of the mr.wax interview:
"Mr. Wax: This is a regrettable event, and even so, unfortunately, our famous musician Griff has left. Jazzy D was very close to me, we were friends. I started to modem with him, we did a lot of fractures, trainings together. Tragically young, he left us at 22. :("
