First try since...20 years at least !
Hi,
I've done my 1st small intro coding since at least... 20 years !

I made it for the Insomni'Hack ethical hacking competition that took place in Geneva this weekend. Didn't spend too much time on it (and heavily relied on Kickass samples), so it probably has bugs. About this, I noticed that I have some issues with the Koala display when Vice starts the PRG with a cartridge inserted, or if I run it on my genuine C64 (using 1541 U2). Any clue ?

data at $d800-dbe7 can't be put there directly, it will go on ram under IO area (and only if you use a AR cart to load your prg, on stock c64 it will just hang).
put it on another empty area ($6000 for example) and copy it to d800 on start. Also sprites at $0700 are not needed, you have plenty of space to put them in a more decent location, $0900 is more ok.
And finally, crunch your result with exomizer or another cruncher. |
