Visual Studio Syntax Highlighting

Hi, Has anyone implemented proper syntax highlighting for 6510 asm in visuals studio (not counting usertype.dat hack)? If so, let me know...

Now that would be cute. 6510 syntax in Visual Studio. How about code stepping, breakpoints and intellisense while we're at it :-D

me.sex: i've added all the keywords to usertype.dat. I don't think it's possible to add a new language type in VS so i guess you are stuck with it.

EDIT: i found this link: http://msdn.microsoft.com/en-us/library/bb166570(VS.80).aspx

Installing 4-6 GB of data to make 64kB programs is indeed admirable... :)

No texteditor i've tried can match Visual Studio. I can't code without that IDE. And thats the whole point, use any c-64 cross assembler but a good text editor ie. Visual Studio.

I think I tried to change the syntax HL of Visual Studio at some point, and if I remember correctly, the only place I could really alter it was in the usertype.dat.. sucks :/ .. I'm using visual assist, which is awesome - but I don't remember if that allows you to introduce your own custom HL.. I guess not, but it's worth a try - and VA is a great enhancement to Visual Studio when coding C++ stuff, so it's a win-win situation, if you're a C++ coder.. \o/
