A word that begins with F and Cracking Group...
Fantasy ?

I'm ONLY guessing, but they weren't really inventive back then, so choices ARE limited.

would you please check the link before you post. Every idiot knows Fantasy CS and Flash CG, this group is from the UK, unlike the other two are German, and rather unknown.

Rough: it seems that UK had a tradition to name the groups as cityname.cracking.service

Perhaps F is a cityname.

I am also thinking here, that it's actually Fusion Cracking Group, and then as names were modernized, they renamed to just Fusion.

It's only a guess. But these old types of names went deadish' in mid 1987.

Does the name FCG come from a greetings list ?
As I see no releases..

Actually I swapped with Casual Dude/Fusion, if there is only a way to find people in UK using their old addresses.. They don't have a person's register, so it's damn hard to call anyone.

Maybe I can get some help when at BITlive 6 next weekend, because I have a huge list of old composers, that can just not be found from here.

my guess is also about the city/territory they live in, like Teesside CS, Eastenders CC etc.

There is one crack from them on my homepage (Bosconian 87) and I once read the full name in some greetings list, I (very hardly) remember it was a word more used in English English than in American English and it wasn't Fusion.

@rambone:
Crap?
Who is talking Crap?
Please don´t call me "f****" again or something like that!
It´s not that kind of language we need in here, or?

FCG means Flash Cracking Group, referring to the one and only FLASH! FCG was found in 1985 in Germany and was a well-known and wll-respected crew in Germany. Flash was something like a German Coding God like Omega Man was in TCS in England. F.e. he coded the legendary intro of the Dynamic Duo. More infos only PM!
