change at Upcoming Events

i hope im not the only one, but it could nice to keep the
the last party for +3 days even if the current time elapsed.
for example: "Zoo 2015" was ended yesterday but i could be more usable to find it under "Upcoming Events" eventhough it passed the current time so i recommend to leave the entry for +3/2 days below from Current time

Thanks Ian, i was puzzled enough not having to click yet it but still for a fast and nice-to-have quick to the eyes without any further clicking i think its not a big change but as a nice-to-have feature and really tiny change . thanks

Or check the partyscope on c64.sk, which lists upcoming, current and recent events, all nicely sorted. :-)

What I don't like with the upcoming events is that the party vanishes as soon as the first day is over (I think... could be even earlier).
But maybe it would be better to show the party until the end date is over? (If the party locations is within your neighborhood you could still attend a party on sunday although it started on friday! ;) )

And... Why not try to improve the functionality/usability of this page instead of having to check another page?

Tried changing the list in the small "Upcoming events" so that is also shows current events.
It have one downside - there are quite a lot of long-term events which then completly dominates the list as you can see. :/

Perhaps we should make an additional box for current events, or change it so it only shows events which have started within the last few days (and of cause future events as it used to do)

How about within a week of an event either starting or ending? It's nice to see if the deadline's coming up for a compo.

Hm. What about going back to the original idea sugested by Dr.J?

Now it shows future events as before, but also events that started within the last 3 days.
That way you get to see current "normal" events as well as upcoming.
