basically I'm not gonna online compete myself again this year nor launch any further compo and agree with conrad, time to produce sth for real life parties again :) looking 4wd to interesting csdb competitions in 2014 though
on the other hand, xIII, if you feel like, no one can stop you from starting some kind of xmas compo yourself |

and i think he is saying 9 because as you should know , the 64 has 8 sprites as standard. 9 would make it more interesting.
an 8 sprite bouncing planet with santa going round it would be cool , just as an idea. |

9 'true' sprites in a line have actually been done before (in Krestage 3 - by crossbow) with specific limitations as you will see. Fixed x position at the end of the screen and once per two lines |

ahh so thats what he ment then , just had a look at krestage 3 nice vic trick with the 9th sprite. |
