"making sounds isnt technical, its personal taste."
followed by numbers and tech babble. priceless =)

unless you know the tech, "playing around" will lead to nothing. you gotta know what them numbers mean before being able to change them in any useful way.

What Groepaz said. Of course it's technical. Personal taste only says something about how you want it to sound. Making it sound like that is sometimes technical as hell. Too techy for me anyway.

Is Defmon available for download? I can't find it here on csdb.

It has an interesting approach to editing music-data.

i am tech, i learned it. have you listened everything from 2007 to now, from my sid chronolgy no you havent. i more or less did all what i wanted, and 95% have all new sounds.

i know the tech now, and i have the supersid right here as i wrote.

it cost 5500 dkk 800 euro ?

i found it.
and when i have put all my sounds into it this is what i have:

16 channel sid, stereo, virtual analog synthesizer

its done. i am making sounds now

i want all the ram full of the sound, then i make the video you wont belive, because you never believe groppaz.

the supersid is real, but only i will have it.

i dont care.

i have 4 sids left to make, then there is 200 sids, and i quit c64 sid forver. the c64 is the magic box to learn on, and the crossdev/real synth is the way to make new.

and you dont belive anything.

i leave behind my sids as sourceflies to look at for student, and the videos which need the missing three.

i gave you hvsc, i give it all away for free for 30 years, leaned all i know from doing that.

its time to quite the scene for good, and make money on what i can do.

this thred is for leaving behind for seekers to learn sdi, and not for discussion. i try to make it simple, else you cannot learn. we all have to learn.

i have finished 99% of everything i ever done.
then i quit and finihs the next thing. one by one.

and this gets finished to leave behind something for everyone.

(philosphy writng poetry style who is me) :)

im an artist, and i shall be on the stage righ tinfront of the screen.

"i quit the scene, and walk 2 steps onto my new scene"
it is right infront if you for all to see :)

***creator left

the way to admin this site properly is an admin that locks all threads, lock! forever. when it turns out of topic, its over, then it shall be locked.

learn to be an admin groepaz, og quit the scene, you have 0 skills at this.

its all soon over.. 4 sids, and 2 demos, then its all over.

for me.

goodbye to all.
to get a new life one must create a new, and just do it.

thats what i do.

good luck to all with SDI, the midi version comes out when 2.1 is bugfree.

and now.. this is the last post by me.

you know where i am all if you wanna talk to me.
there is email and FB, you just contact me, for help, with SDI, making sounds, and that. but please read the entire manual first :) it is on sdi 2.07.

it was fun, but 30 years must be it.

good luck to all!

i make supersid music now, and the first music video.
then you can see :) when all the sounds are put into it.

Hein - it's not publically available yet, sorry. But you're right, it's an interesting way of making sounds. (:

Been admiring the look and sound of Defmon for a few years myself and wishing I could get my hands on a copy.
Created by Frantic for himself and Goto80 aint it?
