Elite .. not so elite

wasn't quite sure to post it on here, for the usual "it's a lemon subject" ;-)

maybe some of you are aware of elite systems not paying spectrum programmers royalties on spectrum apps for iphone / windows etc ? so if you did make games back in the day, and wanted em on iapps etc.. probably best not to bother with them.

anyway he seems to want to franchise "his" emulator for games folk may make.. just curious is emulator based on vice etc?

since it's something for the technically minded who would know, I thought I'd post it here.. is there anything you would know to identify it as vice ?

he was moaning on WOS ages ago about "Oh free emulators are mucking up my sales" .. kinda rich since a shedload of coders came out saying he owned *THEM* royalties.

most "commercial" emulators i have seen were based on "frodo" (which comes with bsd style license, so you can do that)

fair enough, was partly a "heads up" to a few scene folk who did games, to avoid such none payers that a few companies from back in the day also were well known for.
