Octagon

Founded by :
Coma in 1989

Dissolved in :
1990

Group Type :
Demo Group

Base Country :
Denmark

Trivia :
A German group by the name of Octagon had been disbanded in early 1989 and, oblivious to the previous existence of a similarly named group, we founded Octagon later that year. The name came from some B-movie, as far as I recall. The group grew to eight members or so and a few demos were released. We all met up for the first time at the Upfront/Triangle/Dominators X-mas party in 1989 and submitted a demo to the competition which lost in flying colors. Shortly after the party, Octagon fell apart, mostly due to internal tension which mounted during the party.
