Veto... you were quite lost when I talked to you and we sat down with the image and looked it trough... I told you to just create the same looking threes on the left side as you had on the right side and I told you to not even think about giving another texture or material on the facing wall, but rather make it abit perspective in the planks and just do it like the right wall you had already done... you just did that and the image is really nice... I am so glad I helped you out with that because sometimes one just need to hear it from another person... you did nail this one perfectly, not because of me, far from, but I guess I just got you going with it again... Or I would really hope I did... because you were all I do not think I will finish it and I do not think it is great anymore... it were a magical time for me to sit and discuss this massive work you were doing... Thumbs up man! You are one of the greatest!

thank you all for the nice comments. i am glad you like this piece. it is the third pic in a mini series i tried nature scenes in different gfx modes...

special greets to carrion whose landing the village convinced me to do a traditional painting scenery and pal who gave the hint with the vertical bars on the house frontside (was the problem child here).

@deev: agree with leaving out humans in the pic. actually i initially planned to place a girl next to the pond, but imo this was too much.
otherwise i'm kinda relaxed if some picture elements may be not so well executed, but criticism is highly appreciated. my motivation is to improve own weak points and playing with new things. e.g. main challenge here was layout and perspective of the building.

This is art. And you have created a really wonderful picture that could very well be a part of a Magnetic Scrolls adventure that never was...

i find myself counting chars and colors, as always with vetos hires pics. and they always remind me of oil-paintings.

Veto's pictures (the style and the choice of motifs) always makes me get in good mood. Fantastic picture!

My favourite Veto pic so far! With some of the other pictures, I sometimes feel the humans don't look as good as the landscapes around them. Take away the humans and it all looks wonderful! :)

Who needs dithering, indeed? Only the wirers and bio-converters do... ...and Joe/WD, of course! ;]

It was really great to see your progress and the calmness you had just a few minutes before the deadline.
The picture is rich and it's fantastic to see the painterly approach to the strokes of colors.
