Why seek for problems? We're talking about a simple SID compo. Would it be so bad if the rule for playtime became 1 second more?

Why make a bit of a fuss about a half second?

Isn't that what Lance Armstrong said? :)

No, but seriously, I'm quite sure others have had the same problem and had to cut off parts of their tune to meet the rules. What about them? Should they all upload new versions of their tunes? That would be total chaos. The rules are strict, but IMO they should be followed by everyone when they first are there.

Yes but what I said it is made at a very normal play speed. Otherwise I had to make it a 0:40/0:41 tune which would make it a lot less. Will PM with Didi about this.

try to compete at a 4kb intro compo with a 4097 bytes entry and see what happens, even if it's just 1 extra byte.
my 2 cents

The tune restarts on 1:01 and is made at a very normal play speed.
The Smooth Edge by SIDwave has the same "problem".
Why make a bit of a fuss about a half second?
