Just managed to get it to run surprisingly nice on a Raspberry Pi 3 under Ubuntu Mate. Great solution!

wow - finally something for osx
There are many design decisions which I cannot understand...
But it works :) I will do some test and write more serious feedback.

MSX hires is quite interesting. Like C64 AFli, but color palette without blue or red? Nah ;)

Very cool editor indeed. Thanks so much for your work, Dr. TerrorZ!
My wishes for a future version:
1. hires/koala export for poor coders, please :) (executables are nice and well, but should be optional)
2. a more intuitive way to choose colors (keys 1-f would be nice, as I switch them much more often as the tools from the menu)
* thumbs up! *

Thanks for the positive comments. The different conversion/import/export functions from 8-bit formats and png images are still very simple and mostly added as an afterthought.

The palette issue might be worth looking at and Koala etc could be interesting to do in the future. :)

@ Marq:
Yes ... u r right ... Pepto and all is fine with loading! Thanks ;)

Shine: probably the image didn't use the Pepto palette unlike Multipaint and that's why the color remapping was confused.

VERY promising ... but some things doesn't work for me somehow ... only one example: I loaded a PNG (Koala) and all purple colors got light blue. A standalone preview screen would nice to have too. But anyway ... this is a well done job dude! :)

What a surprise. Very nice editor.
I miss some nowadays standards like import/export to adv.art studio (hires) and koala (multi).

Standalone preview window (x1,x2...) would be nice (instead of current magnify).

And copy whole screen to the second one would be handy.

Thank you for this great tool.
