this is definitely an eighties-game-soundtrack ambient. even if that's not a densely populated genre. brings back lots of nice nostalgic memories though!

Baaah... Super tune! Dolby Surround on C64 :).
Using the second SID is very tempting ;).
Cool raster bars. One-file demo release I would say.

Lovely tune for sure, especially after the lead kicks in after 6 minutes something. Great, but I can't help but feel it doesn't really fit the compo theme *that* well. /me looks at Jammer's entries.

Anyhow, awesome track in it's own right.

Fantastic! I think I really need a dual SID on one of my real machines. Great work, Scarzix!

no idea where this tune is possibly to fit in an ambient space, but well, surely a nice c64 classic style it is

Simply brilliant! What a fantastic arrangement, both soundwise and the choice of instruments. Topnotch quality mate! (will do it during the weekend ;))

Nice indeed.

There's a bit around 3:45-ish where I feel the notes on the right side are slightly mis-timed/out of sync. Maybe that's just me though.... :)

Love it, nevertheless.

precisely SIDwave, that was the one we adopted. I think we came pretty close, don't you think? I loved that game back then and thought this player was a nice tribute to an awesome game.

and to everyone: thanks for your feedback!

I just put my Sennheiser HS595 on and choose 6ch Stereo-DSP on my old Yamaha RX-V630RDS. Just a bliss to listen!
