Imagine this as a tape loading-picture in 1987. People would just reset after loading just to load again.

Finally the scene opens up for remixes and derivative work in 2018. There’s hope :)

amazing work Zeldin!!! the result looks absolutely fantastic!!
that color clash near the wing is because AFAIK the pic from JonEgg is still WIP.

You could have also used C64 Debugger and pixel directly on the displayed sprites :)

Bah... I haven't used OSCAR for quite a while and forgot how painful, time and brain sucking it is to tame this beast of a tool/routine. It took me the whole afternoon yesterday, to get the sprite set positioned properly. Now I am exhausted (yeah, I'm getting old) and my fingers bleed after hours of cursor-key-hand-pixeling on da real machine.

For commenting the original graphic (and hailing it's beauty) please go here: Galencia Khaos Sphere : Galencia Fighter Bitmap by JonEgg.
Inspiration (and some of the pixels) from the extended version: Galencia Khaos Sphere + by Smasher.

This no-border version is completely fullscreen and sized 384x272. The bitmap used here is not 100% identical to the original from JonEgg. Sorry. Some minor changes occour, because I had to change background color from dark blue to dark gray (for obvious reasons). Oh, yeah, and I removed the annoying color clash on the upper wing (2nd sorry).

PS: Don't bother to ask for NTSC...
