Jazzcat: Then it must have been released no later than 1987 (the Speccy version was released in 1985), and likely a very early 8580 "arrangement".

As poor as this game is, I do have to respect the developers of it somewhat, because the game contains four different (well, graphically, anyhow) levels, meaning that the developers honestly believed that someone, somewhere, would actually play the game for long enough to complete level one (that is, without a levelskip trainer). I can only be jelous of the amount of self-confidence that reality distortion must take.

(Look, I _liked_ enduro racer and super hang on, okay? Do we really need to use them as the canonical example of a bad c64 racer? :-p)

Richard, well it was actually made before the titles you mentioned, so hard to call it a clone, poor as it is.

Compared to Enduro Racer and Super Hang On on the Commy, Smith's Super Champs proves to be the worst clone of all time.
