It was either a question about going for a colourful hires-version or an image that extended into the sideborder. I eventually decided to go for the latter. I changed the background to something more like fire and explosions and quickly decided the horizontal black lines would give it some depth. For Rambo himself I converted basic outlines to standard three coulour multicolor and then repixeled it entirely in ProjectOne. All in all 20-25 hours of work spread out over two weeks.
