Ah yes, thank you very much, David, for the effort you put into your great magazine. I haven't read it yet, but I guess the editorial will be too much blabla again thou. ;)

And what Ian Coog said. We're not C64GS users...

@celticdesign: wiklund pm'd me on facebook about my tune and at that time i didn't know how to find out the credits for the tunes ... then he told me about changing the tune in the options, before that i only changed the tune by pressing the f-keys and couldn't see who composed the tune. :-D
one good thing about not seeing credits is that you can't judge music by reading a big name. i like that idea on compos also. but when i listened to all tunes, i wanted to know definetly the composers' names!
i think the musics in this issue are all very great. what i like especially about your tune is the sort of SciFi atmosphere, could be a game music for a shoot'em up, the short arps playing the melody are great, expecially the octave switching. reminds me of lightforce somehow <3 ... i like the overall sound of the tune very much, the instruments "melt" very well into each other. i would like to hear this tune in a demo with a starfield, some spaceships, big scroller telling some extraterrestric story ... ;-) ... come on coders! :-)

#1 mag no doubt.
stylish intro, mighty gfx, sweet zaks... so much effort - well done! we can't expect more for our dead scene, right !? ;-)

dEViLOCks track is damn good and i also like Wiklunds funky zak. i am not sure about mine at all and really would like to get some feedback (at least i think that is what the scene makes alive or should i better say survive?) from the musicians around. thanks & peace!

Vandalism News is not only a news source, it's a vehicle for coders, muso's and graphic artists to show off their prods. I always look forward to it, it's like a demo with news, charts and interviews... top effort as usual!!!

Great job to everyone involved. The intro truly kicks ass and the intro tune is a straight 10 for me. Yeah, the mag too, great as always!

very cool issue and nice tunes in this release! but i have one suggestion for future issues. it would be soooo nice if you could display the composer's name when you skip a tune with the f-keys for a few seconds in the lower area next to the menu. pleeeaaaaase!

Sixx: drop down menus are sl0000wwww... but I guess that gives an oldstyle feeling of 300BPS days.

thanks for nice reactions all, hopefully the new outfit for the next issue!

There should be an easy web interface for voting with drop down menus if you want to get more than 23 vote sheets. Just a suggestion.

Great issue! Very nice intro.. There's also lots of good graphics and music in this mag. The content is also very good, news , charts, lists , the chapter about the french scene etc. Keep it up :)

I am so proud that you all love the intro design we did and the content in the mag that all the partys did create... And HCL, yes please do quit on the top of your game, you should not create a demo for X2012... he he... noooooooo... please do continue, it is so cool that clever and good craftmen are doing this weird shit in the modern times... only kribust from offence on that coder chart? I really think that atleast the offence members, perplex, omega, stein and killsquad rank among the top stars in this game too...

Hmm, considering the charts, perhaps this would be a good time to stop coding :P.

Not minding the brilliant intros and great music - if you look at what VN have become nowadays, I really like it. 4 issues a year makes this both actual an possible to read in one go. The old bloat-VN seem to have completely vanished, and i'm really thankful for that. Great work, as always, guys.

The intro is amazing, one of the best intros I ever saw. My two favorite tunes are from deviLock and celticdesign! I did read till now only some chapters, but as always really good written. The outfit on the chapters is again great, well done to all involved! :)

"When it comes to disk magazines, I’m always too lazy to change tune.
An option to press Keys 1 - 5 would make me less lazy ;D"

What about f1 - f3 keys? try them

Great intro. Very few manage to design such parallax effects convincingly.
Fairlight possibly rank no.1 with their effort in ..the demo ?

Good to see Zeros & Ones get a mention.
Such kind words spoken too.

The interview with STE was interesting.
Would be good to see more original playable games released in the future.

I liked the tune. I know there’s more.

When it comes to disk magazines, I’m always too lazy to change tune.
An option to press Keys 1 - 5 would make me less lazy ;D

Whoah. I was quite surprised to see my name in here :P. In World of Demos II you forgot to capitalize the word "Alien" in my name :P, but I guess it's a small mistake :P.
I guess I'm officially a scener :P.

Also, my favorite tune is the one done by G-Fellow, it kinda reminds me of Jesper Kyd's tunes (i.e. one from Hardwired Amiga demo).

Great Intro and I love the music from Celticdesign (I've to admit that I haven't listen to all the musics inside yet!). I am really looking forward for the next issue!
