Not working is "acceptable", bombing is not IMHO.

Could we please have a bugfixed version (or the source)?

most programs aren't aware of UNC dir names, no wonder =)

Thnx iAN. Removing the line with the path (which exists btw) in the [SIDFILE] section, "Directory=\\Diskstation\home\mirrored_sites\C64Music\DEMOS\G-L" will fix the problem.

If "Directory=" is left there it will also crash.

Since I've opened a file on a network (through My Network Places, i.e unmounted) I can no longer start sidplay2w 2.6 without it immediately crashing.

Would be nice to know where the configuration data is stored so it could be wiped/repaired.

I can't reproduce it. I start Jammer\MicroVibes.sid then click on Jammer\Two_Times_Better_2SID.sid and plays in stereo, then back to MicroVibes.sid and it's in mono, click on Jammer\Odyssey_2SID.sid and it's stereo.

Ha, got it! After playing mono sids, player has problems with switching into 2sid mode. No problem if I start SidPlayer and right then play 2sid tune.

Well, it works now again thus I have no foggiest idea about the error replayability. Well, any of the stereo ones didn't play well and switching between mono/stereo didn't help. Still, it's okay now :)

never happened here, care to say which tune?
make sure in settings/play "Channels" is set to stereo, should be set automatically on 2SIDs anyway.

It played stereo sid nicely for the first time. After second launch stereo sids lost channels 4-6 and were played normally as mono.
