the strange workaround is to add unrelated groups as release group.

Strange rules/workarounds caused by the weakness of the system.

yeah some people just dont seem to be able to understand that "released by" means "actually involved into making this particular release".

Then try to credit a group for crack... does not work. It's only possible with scener entries.

Deleted The Friends as releaser again (!?). As Zyron said they are not alive, and cannot release this game in 2010.

Didi: That does not matter. They should be credited for cracking then, but certainly not for releasing this game in 2010. [EDIT] This is one of the weaknesses in CSDb. I have also added many groups as releasers of the same release, just because there are no "imported by" or "first releaser" credits for groups. :/ [/EDIT]

Guess it's simply based on the The Friends' crack of Jet Set Willy, like several other releases here which mention The Friends as releaser.

Changed releaser from The Friends (who died 1986-ish) to The Mad Scientist.

I would say that The Mad Scientist is the releaser here. It is most certainly not The Friends.

this sounds indeed like a lemon64 release

"Cracked by The Friends for Sokrates" don't make Sokrates the cracker. And I guess the wrong Sokrates was picked as well? Also The Mad Scientist != The Mad Scientists. Changing credits.
