This is a port of Kobo Deluxe, one of the few games I play every leap year ;) The code was done in 64tass (1.51.521+), graphics in Spritepad/Charpad, logo on PC and then converted.

Features:
* 50 levels, procedurally generated maps
* Triple buffered, 25fps, 8 directional scroll
* Multicolor character graphics with sprite overlay
* 10+ enemy types, simple AI, overwhelming number of enemies/bullets
* PAL/NTSC timing compatible
* Runs on C64, C128 in C64 mode, C64 DTV, SuperCPU64
* Joystick or keyboard control

The game is open source (GPL-v2), and there's still a lot to do if someone wants to get involved:
- alternative level graphics
- high score saver, name entry
- maybe change the 2x2 multi font into a good hires one
- music, better sound effects
- improved menu, game difficulty levels
- C64 DTV version using special graphic modes and/or blitter, pixel positioned enemies
- 50 fps on SuperCPU
- whatever ;)

Even if not interested at least it's possible to see how it was created ;)
