This is very much demo for just one diskside!!

Agree with what Smasher said about the basic fader, have not seen a sexier one yet.

Awesome production!

Just dropped by and watched this one again. The BASIC fade is amazingly detailed and beautiful. The rest of the demo isn't bad either ;-)

Great! A perfectly THEMED demo with all effects/gfx actually making some sense. Disturbing, yes, but that's OK. And yes, especially the hires pix are wonderful.

Been coming back to this demo several times so far in 2014 and it's so DAMN GOOD to see a demo with a message!

Nicely wrapped in bitmap & sprites and spiced up by some truly original and haunting SID tracks that fits the story of the 8th bit perception (or perfection).

Aldous Huxley, Blake and AC nods in respect. I'm sure.

What I truely love about this demo is the whipe-screen followed by story line staying true to the mad lab science experiments. Great music, great graphics and code. Love it!

I finally got around to watching all the DS releases again. This one still blows everything else away. I am especially fond of Håkon's 3-color test tube art and Glenn's amazing sid with the same name as the demo.

Way better than Artillery, on every level.

Very nice. The effects and soundtrack go hand in hand with the awesome graphics. Some of the images are really disturbing - in a good way.

Thanks for all the nice comments, guys!

I'm very happy to have taken part in this demo for several reasons, and you people are the icing on the cake being as sweet as you all are. :) I didn't think I would ever pixel again, let alone participate in making a demo. Thanks to GRG, Knut and Kristian it happened. So for me this demo is a triumph on a personal level as well. Seeing it on the big screen on DS was truly one of those great moments for me. The hugs and cheering and pats on the back afterwards ment more than the guys involved might think. See ya'll in the next one!

And Jackasser - I know.

My personal fave from the compo. Since Archmage asked to marry me before, I only find it fair to take my turn in proposing this time. Combined with that fitting soundtrack, this is a wonderful approach towards the common 3 color charmode (much more evident here than in your earlier releases!). This isn't just good, it feels necessary. We need these kind of releases to change the perspective on how to approach graphics. I almost feel a bit ashamed that we managed to bump down you guys a position in the compo.

WOW... the basic fader.... best evahhhh.... swiiinnggg pling star like a Colgate commercial ftw.... cool change of mood we are in dddDDDEEEEeeemmmMMMOOOooooo mode.... plotters are cool with superb sound.... very insanely cool graphics on the dna thingy... will we meet dr. Jekyll? Then the insanely weird bottle reflecting or eye inside the beholder greetings part... looks so cool with that colours transparent.... Håkon, you rule... brain is very nice but it kind of get strange with the plasma... tunnel rotator there. the bobs part... man it is looking cool with those sprites under that do not look like sprites at all... and the transition over to the brainwaves, simply splendid... ooohhhh the beast transforming with the c logo... and then the zoomer on top of the best image in the film, framed right and grained perfectly by master photographer håkon.... THEN the best sprite to logo transition in any demo evahhhhhhhh.... always surpassing... I just start to cry... SHAPE was so much in my heart too, geir and grg know this. That last logo screen make me go down all kind of memory lanes, this is epic and so worthy of one of the absolutely best c64 groups ever.
UNITRAX WOULD HAVE BEEN SO PROUD - HE IS - SITTING UP THERE IN THE HEAVENS LOOKING DOWN AND SEEING THIS DEMO - I AM ABSOLUTELY POSSETIVELY SURE OF THAT - LOVE YOU
