Initially, I was going to go with chars for everything, but then I wanted to make the aspect taller. So, I thought the obvious choice was borders. Hence the sprites.
It was easier to do as sprites too.
I didn't want to spend to long on making it. It was a little project to help remind myself about C64 coding\registers etc.
Each project I will do will be an exercise in teaching myself stuff.
Alas, I'm not a natural coder, so I'll never achieve any of the crazy stuff people are doing these days, but I hope some people will continue to enjoy my offerings in the future anyway. |

Sorry guys, yes. It IS buggy. Sloppy code too. I'm still trying to get back into C64 coding.
I think it's kinda fun with the bugs. It doesn't alter the gameplay. |
