Thanks everybody for listening to it again and the great feedback. Hermit: I will bear that in mind. I think it's time to do my Sid Wizard homework :) I noticed too that a couple of sounds are different enough in the 8580. I had the 6581 on when I did it. I don't have a c64 where I live now but I will bring it back as soon as I can :D Can't wait

Yep, much more pleasant to listen. Just a little more advice on the lead: It sometimes gets very thin in pulsewidth that it almost unhearable in arbitrary places. The range of the pulsewidth-sweeps could be limited to avoid this little issue...(the pulsewidth-bars in the logo-area of SW help you to determine when the pulsewidth is too near to the edges, and you can adjust your pulsewidth-program to start sweeping into the opposite direction in time, or to stay in place...)
I still like the upbeat-feel of the rhythm :)

This sounds a lot more pleasing to listen for a long time than the first version, so well done!

Better than first version. Still: a bit weak and random on the melody side; at least not so annoying anymore ;-)
You wrote that you play guitar. Little hint: maybe try to make some pentatonic based melodies for the beginning.
Lead instrument sounds a lot nicer now!
