Nice artwork and I really like the style. Just needs more polish, even for the bit rough look.

JSL, IMHO the rating doesn't depend on the amount of hours spent on it but on the originality of the subject in terms of C64 graphics and on the quality of the graphics.
And this one is quite original with fine quality. No matter if it was done in 5 minutes or in 8 hours, it deserves a nice rating.

But I don't vote.

Hammerfist: I don't know why I added the nose, but there are other vicious creatures with cute button noses, take Bart Simpson for example. ;)
Kitty: Yeah, I could see this and Braiiin in the same universe. Nice work btw.

What Dr. Strange says: I could see this in some fancy piece of graffiti!
I love the style already, and you placed every pixel for the expression correctly imho.
One point of critique: why that nose between the eyes? I think without it this fierce-but-cute creature would be so much more squid-ish.

Again, thanks for all the kind words.
JSL, I used MultiColor and Project One, still trying to decide which one I like best. Oh, and a mouse.

Makkan, two hours of work depends on which drawing program you used, if you pixeled this in "Magnify" mode, then it takes long, because I know, of my 10 disks with unreleased EMC graphics.

Streetish. Indeed quite fine for an initial release. My very first image was much much worse, I didn't even dare to show it to anyone :)

I know.. You all Welcome new starting C64 graphicians, but I often see simple Graphics that get Upvotes, maybe I wrote before about it, if "I" would do something like that I would get Downvotes. Seems everyone expects much more from me, than those releases I do. And I don't release 5minutes work, doing a picture in 3-4 hours, Doublescreeners 6-8 hours. And, I actually had to shut my mouth on this one. In others eyes, this is Art! ;)

for a first release, this one is indeed awesome.

and jsl, i dont want to be rude either, but if your 1000s release *still* looks like you spent a whole 5 minutes on it, you shouldnt write a comment like that at all.

I don't want to be rude, something like this I would do in 5 minutes, but let the upvotes rise.. ;)
