cArrion, that was Orbital of course.
The name of the track was "Moebius" ( https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4PG5PCd284o ). It is too 4x4 with irritating sounds to be considered ambient though ;)

orb or orbital (cant remember now which one) had a piece with this sample looped too. One of my favorites ambient pieces..

and speaking about ambient compo... this one is how I understand ambient. 10/10 from me - if only I could vote ;)
