Previous, bugged, download link restored. Bugfixes and updated downloads require a new entry in the database.

The problem with river raid is now fixed. It is a normal 16 Kb cartridge that is started by the menu but the initialization was not in order. Regarding EasyFlash, we have this configuration used for testing in VICE. Our preference is for a normal cartridge with two logic chips and an 8 Mbit EPROM.

@Dr.j: What about Megaparts 2? :-)

@Unkle K and Kitty

Do you really think it is normal behavior to try to run the game again and again and see if it will crash or not?? .) I think this should be fixed before releasing..

eLK and everyone else can make their own easyflash-collections with whatever versions they want using tools such as EasyFlash Multi Cart Creator (which is also why I don't exactly see the point of this release, but I guess the intentions are good :)

@eLK: River Raid does work if you keep trying, admittedly I had to try a couple of times before it loaded correctly, kept going to blue screen at first, a couple of soft resets later it loaded ok. F1 then F3 to select game then I think I chose F1 to start.

@Tom-Cat
I don´t think Nostalgia is the only one good but I agree that Nostalgia has good releases! That is why I don´t like the 60 in 1. There is many better releases including e.g. trainers - then in this 60 in 1 collection cartridge.

btw. I have found where the problem is with River Raid :) But the fix need more than simple patch.. Send me PM

If you want to play RiverRaid on c64 there is only one good version... from Nostalgia:

River Raid +5DFH

Not sure if this collection has new cracks, recracks or whatever... it doesn't say. But I think most of the games on it can be found in better versions.

It seems River Raid crashes randomly/intermittedly between the title screen and attract mode. I don't think I'll let it spoil my day.

A nice EasyFlash collection and a good selection of games. Interface is functional. I haven't tried every game but what I have tried works fine, including River Raid. Not quite sure what your problem is, Elk. It is what it is.

The screenshot makes me wonder: Why does it say "S.E.S" in the menu title? I have nothing to do with this release.

I agree with you Oswald. In my opinion EasyFlash is great for creating new games and not for making huge compilations of games that exists in better releases than this..

I meant first game I tested - not first game at all.. Try River Raid and do not press any key..

First game works perfectly, your doing it wrong, I also tested 5 more games after that and they all worked too.

I disagree..
Why cartridges??
There is much more better releases of the games which contain this cartridge..

First game tested - crashing..

I will not try more..
Simply - crap..
This kind of release need better testing before releasing..
