*MANY* THX!
Just _worked_ when several other things just fooled me off though HERE the use of the CBM-key with F7 was weird at first :)

Finally got around to using this (didn't have much need for it 'til now) but I got it to work on the c128 and c64 with every 1541 or clone that I have but not with the 1571.

Tested and works fine with CMD HD-100 attached as real IEC device within Vice.

Also works on physical hardware.

Have some trouble with "<-" key working to navigate up on CMD.. if I re-select source drive it will go up a level. Bug?

@Skull: if you know how to expand text to border, I must say that it would be fine by me if that text disappears during transfer... Just make sure that progress bar isn't there and that's it.

@zzarko haha, believe, but I had a vision of the screen extended with spirits at the border when I started coding SDB program :) Unfortunately, the main obstacle is the transmission protocols that interfere with interruptions - at least the ones that tolerate sd2iec. But I have not the intention to abandon this idea :)
I also found a solution to the problem of transfer the image D64 to 1571.

Fantastic program! I had an idea for some time to make something like this, but I lack graphic-programming skills. I had two ideas actually: one is using something like hires 80-column mode, the other was something i saw in a noter a long time ago: sideborder was opened, filled with sprites and you could wiite text full-width. You got extra 6 chars per line, if I remember correctly.

Anyway, I'm glad that somebody more skillful than me made this, my respects to you! I have tested sdbrowse on Oceanic OC-118N, it works as it should.

Would be great to have a special shortcut for transfering d64 to a 1571 with a different routine then in a future version (to make 128 users really happy ;) ). But it's a great piece of software as it is, so thanks a ton for it! Cheers!

Not sure if IEC2ATA supports absolute paths for CD. Unfortunetly I can't get to my C64 with IEC2ATA for several weeks - maybe some other user can try before that ?

Thanks for the feedback,
relating "IEC2ATA" - whether it supports absolute path (how the syntax)? Due to work on two panels is actually necessary because the SDB holds two separate virtual states for the device - otherwise the second panel would show always the same as the first. Maybe it looks like the VICE emulates the IEC (Peripheral settings), "C:/dir1/dir2/dir3".

relating 1571, unfortunately, am sorry to say that creating a disk from D64image does not work, because write procedures are for 1541 only (Fast Hack'em), I used a program source with another tool (http://c64scene.pl/viewtopic.php?p=17272&highlight=#17272)
As for the rest of the additive, like SID file handling, multiselection etc. probably appear in future versions.

Hey Skull, nice work! May I suggest some features / enhancements for this great tool:
- Marking of several files for copying
- Format disk / Create blank .d64
- When you exit a .D64, position the cursor on the file you exited, not the beginning of the directory

Also, I would like to report a bug, creating a .D64 / copying a disk to .D64 doesn't work reliably with a 1571 drive. It either freezes on start, or on the start of the second pass.

My apologies.

But IMO the "summary" info should be visible on the initial page.

But now I know where to look

you spent 5 minutes on ranting and didn't even checked the detailed info box on the left?

I'm always interested in SID tools and programs, which I assume this is?

Since there are no docs in the zip, what exactly is this ?

What does it run on?

What are the file types?
/rant
Did you spend more than 5 minutes writing it?
If so, how about 5 minutes spent on some minimal documentation ?
/rant off

GREAT tool there Skull. Works perfectly on SD2IEC. But I have been trying it out on its distant cousin IEC2ATA (very popular device here in Europe) and it seems that Jiff protocol is working perfectly, files are loaded file, but there is a problem with directories - you cannot enter the directory (it says "I Can't"). Would be possible to add suport for directory browsing for IEC2ATA owners?
CD:<subdir> change directory
MD:<subdir> make subdirectory
SD:<subdir> scratch (delete) subdirectories
to go up one dir you use left arrow CD:<-

I am very sorry, indeed. So are the results when improving the code at the last minute before release;-)
The error was simple but completely eliminated the running (or it happened completely random), so I removed the previous version and now I uploaded a new (better to delete the previous v4ec)

It looks cool, and the youtube video looks impressive. But I have problems starting a few one-file demos such as "dum ikea 92%" and "pimp my commodore 100%". After loading those the SDB screen freeze. ("Dawnfall" loads fine though.)
