@Rudi glad to see you like it. i never coded stuff like that before. after a quick peek at the wikipedia page i started thinking about how to realise this in asm. and thats what i came up with.

Nice to see that it inspired you to do an asm version Streetuff. My favorite is rule 105 and 106. Im doing an own asm version. Keep up the good work!

uploaded a version that handles the wraparound. included is a version that cycles in normal and random mode through all possible states of the cellular automata. most of them look boring (just lines or gibberish) but some looke quite nice. there is also a rule 30 / 110 random version for rudi :)

i just found out that i dont handle wrap around correctly. but without that bug the wonderfull picture of rule39 would look a bit differently. well thats coding. use your defects. will upload a version that cycles through the rules later this evening.

@TheRyk i wanted to keep the filesize below 512 bytes. thats why there are different versions. maybe i'll do a version that cycles through all 256 possible rules later.

this is an assembly version of the cellular automata that rudi released in basich here -> ECA Rule30/110

the -rnd files draw new random pictures according to the rule of the cellular automata. i know this could be optimised more. but for me this was just a nice sunday afternoon coding excersise.
