"Tallefjant" (scots spruce fool) is what Swedes jokingly claim that Norwegians call squirrels. The official Norwegian word for "squirrel" is "ekorn".

Some Norwegian dialect words for "squirrel" include "trebjønn" (treebear), "tallbjønn" (scots pine bear), "barbjønn" (conifer needles bear), "buskbjønn" (bush bear), "furubjønn" (scots pine bear), "natabjødn" (nut bear). So this Swedish joke isn't too far from the truth, really.
