No stages left but the image is based on an ink drawing made for Ilan Manouach’s book ‘Limbo’ (2008) on holocaust. Pixel work done in PhotoShop with touchpad.

w.o.w. remembers me to the short story, where a painter researched why another painter's pictures are so disturbingly awesome. discovered that the original painter took a glimpse into hell, and so did he. after that he saw screaming faces everywhere and tried to ease the craze by painting.. those screaming little souls into the details of the paintings, until he couldnt take it anymore and stabbed himself with a scissor in the eyes and died. :)
