A game that should not be!

Around 1997 Scroll/Megastyle (aka. Ruben Spaans) wrote a small game he called ”Snake Oil”.
Scroll has always been a huge intellivision fan, and wanted to make a port of one of his favourite games.
The game was almost finished, and only a little polishing was needed before the release.
Unfortunately the game was put on a workdisk, and after a while forgotten.

In 2014 Rotteroy/Megastyle(aka. Roy Widding) visited Scroll during his summer holiday, and they looked through old work disks when they found Snake Oil again.
They started joking about it would be fun to serve the scene with a first release, and decided to finish it.

Back from his holiday Rotteroy did some research and made a cover of the original music and drew new graphics for the game.
Meanwhile Scroll could not find any motivation in c64 coding, so what was left of the programming was turned over to
Majikeyrik/Megastyle (Eric Hilaire) who programmed the intro, menu and upgraded the ingame with Rotteroy's music and graphics.
Majikeyric even added a four player support for the game, and did some general polishing on the game.

So finally, after almost 20 years, the game is ready to be released.....
