Some technicalities:

- my own rudimentary sample player using waveform method (restarting phase of triangle wave with appropriate pitch - identical with THCM), updated every 2nd rasterline which results in sample frequency of approximately 7812Hz
- sample data stored as 4bit and decompressed/quasi interpolated in runtime
- sample buffer split in two parts across the screen (78 bytes each)
- rasterbars updated in NMI calls together with sample output
- controller routine, which retrieves parameter/marker from Goat Tracker tune, modifies current sample pointer, all colours and opcode for operations done on rasterbars' colours (AND/EOR/ORA)
- text scroll updated in main loop (together with available rastertime in scroll area) to suck on every cycle available and keep up with frame (now, that was a bitch!)
- intro uses first memory bank strictly which was most probably unnecessary on my part and only made life harder :D

8580 strongly recommended for proper music playback.

About this site:
CSDb (Commodore 64 Scene Database) is a website which goal is to gather as much information and material about the scene around the commodore 64 computer - the worlds most popular home computer throughout time. Here you can find almost anything which was ever made for the commodore 64, and more is being added every day. As this website is scene related, you can mostly find demos, music and graphics made by the people who made the scene (the sceners), but you can also find a lot of the old classic games here. Try out the search box in the top right corner, or check out the CSDb main page for the latest additions.
