Zap Fight 2 is a vertical scrolling futuristic blaster, which was originally created using Sensible Software's Shoot Em Up Construction Kit. The game was then imported into a brand new scroller/animation engine frame work by Martin Piper. A new score panel, alien AI and awesome power ups were installed into the source code, making this game a real corker. To give to the atmosphere, just like with the original Zap Fight. Thumping trance music was added to set the mood of the game.

The tape master was also included on the disk version. Should anyone wish to make a tape version featuring an Ocean/Imagine style look - Although Freeload wasn't used.

The game was originally picked to be part of the 4th and final series of Psytronik's Shoot Em Up Destruction Set. However there were enough games on the compilation already (The compilation had to be Limited to 6). There was already another vertical scrolling futuristic blaster set as first choice.

Alf Yngve and Psytronik Software gave me kind permission to submit this game to Holiday 9.5 edition Reset's Mix-I-Disk, and also TND's contributor's page. Since a lot of hard work and effort was put into this title, it sure was worth a good release :)
