1541 Ultimate Sid Remote

With the latest Firmware upgrade from Gideon , where the new TCPIP Client
was integrated it came to my Mind to have a nice Tool to Play Sids on my
Real C64. So i coded this Tool here.

During coding this i noticed that it isnt really possible to have a Memory
locked Global Sidplayer for C64, even if the Code is located in Screen Mem.
So i integrated the latest PSID64 Version as alternative Player to have a
99,99 % Global Sidplayer Solution.

Disadvantage of the PSID64 is that you cant select the Startup Subsong so
the Subsong selection has to be done on Real C64 for the Moment, but i am
working on sending RemoteKeystrokes.

Also some other usefull non Sid Related Remote commands have been added.

overall Remote Tool Features are:

Reset C64

Upload Code / Prg to C64
Upload Code / Prg and Autotart with own Startadress (entered e.g. as $080d or 2061)

Create own Playlist for Sids and Upload with :
-click on Name in both Playlists. You can sort the Database on the rightside
by Names,Author,Release Year,Playtime where the left Playlist stays untouched
sorted in the order You added the Sids.
-hit previous or next Sid Button, which should be very usefull for Sidcompos.

Auto Advance detects Sid Playtime and uploads next Sid after Time elapsed.
Some Sids (especially the ones containing Digi) wont deliver correct Playtimes
sometimes. If no Playtime has been detected the Auto Advance Module automatically
skips to next Sid after 3 Minutes.

When a Sid from the Playlist will be played for the first Time there is sometimes
a 3 Seconds Delay for Detectings Sid Parameters , Playtime and other shit. This
may happen if the Sid You added to the Playlist is not inlcuded in the latest HVSC
Collection (i used #67 this Time for MD5 hashes Siddetection)
Once everything has been Transfered the needed Values are saved in the Database.

If you want to add the Parameters for each Sid in Your Playlist at once, just
enable Parameter detect Mode and each Sid will be played for 2 Seconds to detect
the needed Info of each Sid.

todo / possible Addons for the Future :

- add Alarmclock Mode with Random or Selectable Wakeup Sid
- play previous or next Subtune (if present)
- remove (single) Sids from Playlist or Database
- create own Playlist from Database

Changelog :

Version 1.1.0.0 (04.07.2017)

added single Sid Upload
optimized Sid detection Routine
added Turbo Chameleon support (needs USB connection and TC in C64 Basic, not MENU)
added Automatic Random Sid Selection in Auto advance Mode

Version 1.0.0.9 Initial Release 31.06.2017 at Gubbdata / Sweden

External Tools included or used to generate by this Tool are:

Psid64 by Roland Hermans (PSID64 V1.2)
Siddiag from the HVSC Team (if i recall correct)
Ultraedit, Total Commander , Visual Studio 2015
chcodenet,chacocmd (Turbo Chameleon commandline Tools)

Tested and 100% confirmed working with :

Ultumate 1541 Firmware Version atleast V3.01 rev 500
Turbo Chameleon Firmware atleast

For additional Ideas or Addons ask me at FB , CSDB or Feedback at TH.
