Wish I had found this earlier. Lovely chords!

Not just one of my favourite SID styles but also the kind of music I pursued obsessively in the late 90's and early 00's. I wonder if history will ever recognize people like Metal for their part in putting an entire downtempo genre on the map. Quite frankly I don't believe we'd ever have Atjazz, The Physics, Rurals etc if it wasn't for the vibes teenage Torben had introduced.

As for it being part of introtune compo, listen and learn how not to fight the crack itself for the attention..

Experimental stuff, the chords and melody are super nice. I think, the tune would've scored higher if it used wider dynamics.

Love those lo-fi percussions!

That's Metal I remember ;) Tune would fit nice minimal, nextgen crack screen with clean design.

Damn have to comment again. I used to reload "revealed#3" as a kid, Metal had done 3 songs(?) for that issue and hell, this one brings me back to those lovely moments. This is great!

let's just drop the 'simple' from the compo description and here comes an excellent contender. personally, i'd trade this for a hundred generic ditties that are apparently expected to take part here o_O

@Linus, yeah, that's probably why, although I've heard some weirder shit in crack intros over the years. Oh well.

Really nice vibes, very moody. A looper for sure. Regarding the rating ... my guess is it's nothing people can associate with a crack intro tune ;)

Thanks for the nice comments. Bit puzzled about the rating so far though.

Good to hear new stuff from Metal. Been always mad about his chord progression.

Great tune! I like it.

Unfortunately the noisy percussive sounds (on 8580) echoing in the beginning of the song is not present when I run it on a 6581 SID. I tried several 6581 SIDs.
