Easy to use, efficient and supports so many formats. I like it so much! ;-)

As a possible future release or update, I would suggest to you to consider the followings, maybe other people would also welcome these ;)
- selection tool with copy-paste
- Preview window: currently only one sprite can be seen (or two, if 'overlay next sprite' is switched on)
Would it be possible to add more sprites? would be really helpful, especially with overlay sprites, if someone works on special multi-sprite graphics / logos with overlay
- in addition to Move, add 1 pixel left/right/up/down function
- nice to have: draw line / circle /curve

I'm usually not a fan (and even a hater) of the web apps, but I used this website a bunch of times and it's really good. :)

Super awesome!!! Thanks a lot. I've been waiting for this for years. I'm really fed up with those Windows-only tools. Even an Hires-Overlay is included. And sources on github. Exactly, what I need :)

Please note that the download file was added because it is required. I recommend using the link to the website as the web sources might be tricky to setup for some.

Great stuff. However, this is a database for securing releases for future generations. No "browser-only-and-no-files" releases here. I added the source to the entry.

Great! Finally a web based sprite editor. It also handles spritepad data. I can't wait for other features to be implemented... :D

Spritemate is a new sprite editor for the Commodore 64. It works with modern browsers on Windows, Mac and Linux and is pure JavaScript & HTML.

I made it for fun. It's free. I hope you like it.
