heya Nop.. Yah, that basically sums it up, and since it looks like a genuine question I'll explain with a bit more words;

To be honest, personally I would prefer previews to go through untouched by default by all teams.. like in the old days.

Then again, I've also seen plenty of reactions here, other forums, and personal messages of people enjoying a preview that had some time put into it..

Sooo.. if someone in the team feels like having a go.. we usually do, even if only as a "mail release".

This case was a simple quick and dirty points pick-up, no more, no less.

Also note, I actually agree if you think stuff like this holds no purpose of an upload here if the preview is already present, but.. catch 22 for us..

If we don't, I know I'll get people asking me on fb/whatsapp if I can pass them the prg/d64 because they don't want to go to a BBS (despite it being a boring prv, people collect this stuff).

Secondly.. someone else will upload it even if we don't.. because it's missing.. because they think CSDB is synonym for the scene, or pick a reason.

At that point we'd rather have maintenance on our own releases, and thus it is added here by us.

Hope that gives some insight :)

So we take a preview release on a Friday, add an intro, make no changes whatsoever and on Saturday it's a new release? Wow.. it's black magic.
