They had scanners or digitizers back then too... It is a wonder to me that so many think the pixel artists back in the days really drew all pixels from their mind... this were probably digitised with the newtek digitizer and then later pixeled into at that time high standard! So if it seem like a lense it probably are one too...

In 1990 we digitised some images of us in at that time wot onto the c64 that I later pixeled further... The digitizer were old at that time I can remember... I think it was from newtek but can not recall at all...

Almost as if a fish-eye lens was put on top of Jarre's face. Other than that an ok picture.
