Its more likely April 1990

also I think the release date here on CSDb is wrong (which is based on the exc intro). I believe early 90 is more accurate.

Guardian II - Revenge of the Mutants +
just the crack, with no import intro... we greet excalibur in it. so they existed already.

yes, it could be. but we traded with exc back then, so perhaps intro is real and someone just replaced the scrolltxt?

Nah, Excalibur was formed later in 1989 with three members - none of whom are Asterix supposedly in April 1989.

Plus, I doubt he would call himself Assterix in the scroll text and say he "removed the sword from his ass".

Its clearly a rag on Excalibur and their sword motif, other groups said similar over the years.

If you look closely you'll find plenty of fake releases here on CSDb, lots of them credited to groups because people don't check scroll text or don't remember the rag wars from that time.

no, I think it's real. they wrote crap because it's a crappy release, that's it.

After reading the scroll text in the Excalibur intro it is clear this isn't a real Excalibur release.
