Sprites were ripped with XYZ-Soft's "49152 Sprite Editor". Charset based sprites from Boulder Dash were drawn after a soft reset from a char editor (also by XYZ-Soft) to a square-sketchpad, pixel by pixel, and then drawn back to C64 as sprites with the aforementioned sprite editor.
