Unflagged as broken because it's not, it's badly coded at birth.
2nd part can be unpacked correctly if run by itself (once removed the intro), there is an offending part of code that should not have been there.

The fix is rather easy, in vicemon before pressing space to exit the intro:

un 200

press space, when the monitor pops up:

un 812

and then

f 816 81f 78
x

to remove the offending instructions.

The 2nd part is in the d64 hosted on CSDb as "PROGEN/POWERZONE", text in it says that this demo was spread with the error between parts, so they re-released the 2nd part alone. It only differs in a little part of the scrolltext explaining why it bugs.

quick fix
