Yeah, that is the main reason people have locked entries in the past. Some idiot comes along and starts deleting or just randomly changing details they know nothing about.

Also it was locked because in the past there were a lot of idiots around in "deleting mode active" random stuff here on CSDB. But someone who wasn't around those days can't know and just asking why some old stuff were locked.

Should be possible to override locks for older entries...

how about also updating SIDs used... ;)

Sorry, but sometimes I just don't get that entry-lock-o-mania, if I do it, I only do it in own releases (to prevent overaccurate scene sheriffs from changes or terrorists from messing all up) after setting all the correct credits
