Hmm, I thought I had written a comment here, but apparently not.

Anyway, after finally seeing it in real-time thanks to new VICEplus release, I have to say that I like this demo a lot; the first part is really atmospheric and the Echoes cover is a nice fit there. I also liked the vectors and the hypnotic tunnel a lot. The rest is also ok, but the demo could benefit from a shorter span of the effects, IMHO.

Thumbs up to all involved!

@jucke : Streetuff for president is correct always, but he has not programmed the tunnel ...

Last night I thought it would be a great idea to watch some new demos fried, and it was great until after a minute or so into the great tunnel-effect. I went so dizzy i felt like i was about to puke and had to turn my face away from the screen until it was over. (: Streetuff for president!

Very nice, even though I do not like these space things that much. But looks like TRSI becomes the undisputed leading and most active group on the DTV.

@markus sinalco: That could be because it *is* a cover of Echoes from the album Meddle by Pink Floyd? =)

Added Sidfiles. Proper C64 versions with filters and stuff may come later.

i have changed the compo cathegory to "c64 demo".... "mixed" is for combined gfx/music/gfx compos. yes, "c64 demo" is not correct either, but still makes more sense to have all entries of the same compo in the same cathegory imho :)

nojoopa fixed viceplus to run the loader correctly: x64dtv-531-odyssey.zip (win32 binary)
There a couple of other bugs left. Especially in the greetings part where the screen is mostly black.

Very nice, especially the greetings part spoke to me somehow... ;)

On a more serious note, it was a good to see TRSI keeping the DTV in motion with a new major demo.
MOD-player was cool, aswell as the highres vectors and tunnel and etc. etc :)
