Screen clear on old kernals

New feature:
RUN-STOP to reset game (easier to start again for new races)

@spider-j: The firebutton is reserved for future ideas (i.e. weapons...) ;-)

Car speed is too slow, as has been told here before ;)

We had some races today with some ppl on irc.
Besides the fact that the game needs some work we had some fun already!
Hope some more join in tonight because that makes the battle extra fun.
Oh and we need somebody who can do the countdown as the game lacks that =)

Graphics look really simple, but that is nothing. I had a little test at this game but in single play. Seems pretty good, but sure would be more fun in netplay :)

Good idea. But as groepaz said: much too slow. And speed up should work by holding firebutton instead of pushing forward. I hope there will be a 2nd version!

Scout: the guys are still at the C4 expo, afaik.

How about we try to organize a netracer test on ircnet #c-64 at 9 pm CET DST today (sunday)?

My red corvette is ready to rumble... but where are the other players?

Come on guys!

Edit: even the irc channel is dead.
Those C64 guys need some lessons in marketing strategy. :-/

yay, cool idea :)

the car movement is a bit weird though, it could run (scroll) faster for my taste, and steering could be more tight.

anyway thumbs up... should look at my dogfight thingy again too =)
