Nice pic indeed - too bad "Molly" doesn't have some stylish sunglass alike implants as Mr.Gibson described her.

Wow, outstanding picture. The woman reminds of my former sublessee who was also into painting on PC. No clue what happened to her.

Only 7,x? Anything weird on real hardware or bad taste?

Many thanks for the explanation on how to make screenshot of an interlaced picture! I couldn't imagine that several steps were needed even if it is rather logical when you think about it.

Carrion: According to me, your strength is doing cool things in ordinary graphics modes. Please stay away from the flickering shit! :)

ahem. animated gifs might be an interesting idea but the result is just like watching an interlace with an emulator. some browsers cause delays or even unbalanced framerates (even firefox 3)

animated png, both frames set to 20 ms(firefox3 or new opera required, wont work in IE). as you can see the browser is too slow to catch up with the frame updates. the best solution i`ve seen is the flash based displayer by Sorex but it isnt perfect either. so the conclusion is:- watching C64 pictures in a web browser sucks, download it and watch it in an emulator or ideally on a real C64.

Very nice, awesome usage of colors!
Considering blurred screendumps (yes), CCS makes very nice examples of those smudgy craps.
Also, I know it might sound absolutely crazy, but a lot of us graphicians would simply LOVE to see/examine the pixelling style instead of looking on that foggy shit of a screenshot, so a download link to the dithered version would be still quite awesome.

you could make an anigif with 20ms between frames :=) (is that even possible? hehe)

screen grabs from a real C64: even frame, odd frame,50/50. you dont see the flicker so it cant be called a "proper" screen shot anyway, use a real C64 to watch interlaced pics.

"The only problem is that CSDB's 50 kB limit is too small, so you might have to convert it to an 8-bit dithered image afterwards."

args. no. please no dithered pictures. for once i think that limit was raised long time ago ago, and then you could also ask to do so if not =P

Grab screenshots until you have one of each field, open them in pixlr, http://www.pixlr.com/app/ , paste one on top of the other, set transparency of the top layer to 50%, save as PNG.

The only problem is that CSDB's 50 kB limit is too small, so you might have to convert it to an 8-bit dithered image afterwards.

Nice pic Carrion!

@Groepaz : How to make proper screenshots of interlace pics ? I don't think that it is possible in an emulator, it needs to be in the original tool (cross-tool maybe?) to display the full screen image and then capture the screenshot no ? forgive my ignorance... :D
