Great. Sounds japanese to me, as if it was straight from Square/Enix.

Necro: Yeah, base riffs has always been important for me :) ... and frankly, leads isn't my strongpoint in composing anyway... though I think "bass only" tunes are too quick and easy to do, which is why I try to put a lead in no matter what.

Although it is not pure perfection (I've heard more catching lead melodies from you), but it is much more important to have great base riffs, isn't it? :) The tune in that department is admirably strong. That dose of coolness is capable of turning soft drinks into ice in no time :)

For me, somehow it feels like to be a background music for vocals in the front.

Nice atmosphere, sounds and flow. Great summer-slideshow or magazine feeling to it.

Rather calm and laid back.

The beginning is like static waveforms from a thunderistic ocean. Then the clouds open up to let out a full spectrum of colors and particles. The sounds are very good, fits perfectly. Great base, fine drizzling chords, embracing drums and a happy shining lead. Awesome track! Fat easy one of the best!
